Hello!
My name is Jeremy Lipton and I'm a New York based AEA actor. I was born and raised on Long Island and ever since I was seven years old I discovered the satisfying thrill of telling stories and realized I had a natural desire to perform. Even in elementary school I’d turned down sports for a pair of tap shoes and boy how I’ve thrived! I graduated from Montclair State University with a BFA in musical theatre and, though most of my career has been on stage, I’ve discovered a renewed passion for performing in front of the camera. Having studied both stage and screen acting, I understand the subtle differences in the mediums and the intriguing effects each one has on its respective audience. What continues to inspire me to produce art, whether it be on stage or on camera, is knowing my performance touches people on a personal level and encourages others to tell their stories and follow their dreams.
I’m a huge fan of serious dramas with intense subject matter and breathtaking cinematography such as Euphoria, Black Mirror, Breaking Bad, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Game Of Thrones, as well as straight comedies that can sometimes make one feel uncomfortable such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Schitt's Creek, The Office, and Portlandia.
When I’m not on set, on stage, or taking acting technique classes, you can find me pursuing other interests such as writing, tap dancing, playing around with photography and cinematography, traveling, hiking, and bartending (oh yes, I make a mean margarita).
